Angelique Kerber finds a job: she will be the director of a WTA tournament

Looking at her track record, her experience, and her people skills, it was only natural that Angelique Kerber wouldn't take long to find a new role on the professional circuit. Retired since last summer, also leaving a great performance at the Olympics, the German announced this Friday her new position as director at the WTA 500 in Bad Homburg, a grass tournament held at the end of June. And she did it with last-minute news: Iga Swiatek, one of the best tennis players in the world, will be present at this 2025 edition. In Germany, they smile thinking about the growth the tournament can experience in the coming years. They surely couldn't be in better hands.
