Since tournaments in Russia are still banned on the professional circuit, Gazprom has decided to once again host the classic exhibition tournament in December, where they will bring together two top-level mixed teams captained by Mikhail Youzhny and Janko Tipsarevic. There will be Spanish representation thanks to Roberto Bautista and Pedro Martínez, along with other legends who will be part of the event. With the war in Ukraine still ongoing – even if the media has stopped covering it – this is the only remaining tennis stronghold for Russia to engage live in our sport.
