The WTA 2024 season came to an end a week ago, with only the Billie Jean King Finals in Malaga left to finish. Therefore, it's time to highlight some statistics that are always of interest to those who have followed the calendar since the beginning of the year. For instance, do you know who was the player with the most aces this season? While we are used to seeing names like Karolina Pliskova, Caroline Garcia, or Elena Rybakina at the top, this time it's Qinwen Zheng who claimed the first spot with a total of 445 points earned with her powerful serve. Looking at the double faults leaderboard, Coco Gauff stands out (430), but these errors did not stop her from ending the season on a high note by winning the WTA Finals and solidifying her position in the top 3 worldwide.
