The final part of the season is already here, and traveling to certain remote places to compete in a Challenger that only awards 50 ATP points to the winner can be a significant financial effort for the players. Therefore, very few players have confirmed their presence at the Challenger de Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo), and the tournament has had to take some measures that border on surrealism. The top seed of the tournament is not even among the top 200 players in the world, and the eighth seed does not even reach the top 500 in the rankings. It is surprising to see up to 12 players outside the top 1000 in the main draw, and in the qualifiers, there are only nine players, five of whom are unranked.
